FRONT DOOR GLASS ADJUSTMENT
1. CHECK FRONT DOOR GLASS
Check the following items. If the conditions are not met, readjust the glass.
(i) When you close the door with the glass fully closed, the A-A, B-B sections are in the same condition as shown in the illustration (see fig.1).
(ii) When you push the glass firmly from inside, the glass stops at the roof drip moulding and does not move.
(iii) When you close the door with the glass fully closed, the glass is not caught in the outside lip of the weatherstrip and does not touch the roof drip mouldings.
(iv) With the door closed, the glass moves smoothly.
(v) The upper edge of the glass cannot be seen from outside of the vehicle (edge touching roof side rail weatherstrip).
(vi) When the glass is being raised, the glass and roof side rail weatherstrip are parallel, and the front and rear window upper stops touch at the same time.
2. ADJUST FRONT DOOR GLASS

(i) Remove the 2 lower plate bolts and lower plate.
(ii) Adjust the glass by turning the setting nut.
(iii) Reinstall the lower plate and 2 bolts. Torque: 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm. 69 in.-lbf)

(iv) In case the glass does not fit the mirror bracket:
Loosen the lower nut of the mirror bracket. Using a hexagon wrench, adjust the mirror bracket to in/out direction by turning the stud bolt. Torque: 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm. 69 in.-lbf)

(i) Loosen the 2 nuts for the window regulator.
(ii) Using a shim, adjust the glass to in/out direction. Shim thickness: 1.0mm, 2.0mm.

Loosen 3 bolts of the carrier plate and adjust. Torque: 7.8 Nm (80 kgf-cm. 69 in.-lbf)

Adjust the door window upper stops. Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm. 48 in.-lbf)
