To check the engine diagnostic codes, bridge terminals TE1 & E1 with a piece of wire (or a paperclip) in the Diagnostics box located on the right hand side of the engine bay near the bulkhead.
Then turn the ignition 2 clicks until the engine light illuminates, count the flashes, each code is 2 digits long so you will get a series of flashes, then a pause, then a series of flashes, this will indicate the 1st & 2nd digit of the code. If there are multiple codes there will be a long pause then the next code will be displayed.
