Spark Plug Replacement:
- Remove HT leads from sparkplugs located on the rear side of the engine noting cylinder assignment.
- Remove plugs from cylinder head
- Check gap of new plugs using feeler gauge (NGK Spec: 0.8mm although this should be preset)
- If adjustment is required use a soft faced mallet to adjust. Don’t ever leave feeler gauge in whilst adjusting gap.
- Smear a small amount of copper grease or molybdenum grease around the threads, avoiding leading 3 threads.
- Fit plugs into cylinder head and torque to 18Nm (13.3 lb-ft)
- Refit HT Leads
Recommended NGK plugs for 3S-GE = BKR6EP-82215
