8. Pull the console away from the bottom, do this reasonably gently, you can now release the clips a little further up again with reasonable force. Be careful here though as there is a clip at the top of the clock area which will snap if you bend the unit upwards, best way is to pull the entire unit towards you | 8. here u go, the guide to removing the center consol
1. Remove the gear knob by twisting it

2. Pull the surround up from the window switch end

NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE THE KNOBS on your climate control!, Remember to disconnect the cables at the back of the climate control before removing it with the rest of the centre console

Be careful here though as there is a clip at the top of the clock area which will snap if you bend the unit upwards, best way is to pull the entire unit towards you
